After graduating from Superior High School in Nebraska in 1982, Dr. Wade Konvalin attended Kansas State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in 1986. He continued on in his studies at the University of Houston College of Optometry where he received his degree to practice optometry and was Licensed by the State Texas Board of Optometry in 1990. Dr. Konvalin continued to keep up with the advances in optometric medicine and received his Therapeutic Optometric License from the Texas Board of Optometry in 1992, and his Optometric Glaucoma Specialist License from the Texas Board of Optometry in 2000.
Dr. Wade Konvalin belongs to the following Professional Associations: American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association as well as the Better Business Bureau. He also is a member of the Prosper United Methodist Church.
Dr. Konvalin and his wife, Nelda have three children and enjoy visiting grandparents and going to church. In addition to family activities, Dr. Konvalin especially likes working on his ’68 Camaro, riding his Harley, pheasant hunting and Nebraska and K-State football.
